Responsibilities:- Oversee and manage the housekeeping operations of the facility- Supervise a team of housekeeping staff and ensure they are performing their duties effectively- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of all areas, including guest rooms, common areas, and public spaces- Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure efficient and thorough cleaning- Train new housekeeping staff on proper cleaning techniques and procedures- Inspect rooms and common areas to ensure they meet established cleanliness standards- Address guest complaints or concerns regarding cleanliness promptly and effectively- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels at all times Requirements:- Previous experience in housekeeping management or supervisory role preferred- Knowledge of custodial practices and procedures- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills- Knowledge of hospitality industry standards for cleanliness and sanitation- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for long periods of time- Familiarity with commercial cleaning equipment and products- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Note: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
