The Maintenance Person will also provide excellent customer service while addressing maintenance needs. Duties Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various equipment and systems, including electrical and mechanical components. Utilize tools such as ohmmeters to diagnose and troubleshoot issues efficiently. Fabricate parts and components as necessary to ensure operational effectiveness. Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and troubleshoot problems effectively. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols. Collaborate with team members to enhance facility operations and address any maintenance concerns promptly. Provide leadership in maintenance projects, guiding less experienced staff when needed. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory of supplies. Qualifications Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in facilities maintenance. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters. Familiarity with logic controllers and their applications in facility systems. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients. Ability to read schematics and technical manuals for troubleshooting purposes. Leadership qualities to mentor junior staff or coordinate small teams on maintenance tasks. A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong attention to detail.
